Experience birding like never before in the tranquil, unspoiled surroundings of Ntsikeni Nature Reserve—home to over 170 bird species including the Bearded Vulture, Southern Bald Ibis, Yellow-breasted Pipit, and Wattled Crane. Nestled between Underberg and Kokstad in southern KwaZulu-Natal, Ntsikeni spans 9,200 hectares and features one of South Africa’s largest high-altitude wetlands, a designated Ramsar site. This biodiverse haven is renowned for its rare wetland, grassland, and mountain species—including the critically endangered White-winged Flufftail.
Included, a 2 night stay at Ntsikeni Lodge situated in Kwazulu Natal (self-catering accommodation).
